Dear supporters of Sevalaya USA,
Thank you for your support! We have exciting news to share! During 2024, we supported the education of more than 700 students. In addition, thanks to a generous donation from a supporter, students studying in Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School received coaching sessions in volleyball, basketball, athletics, football, and handball and participated in various competitions.

The Give Foundation sponsored three projects in the Kasuva campus:
Mission No Child Homeless that supports 34 children.
Gift Shelter to a destitute child supporting 47 children in the home for orphaned children in the Kasuva campus.
Mission Elderly Lives Matter which supports 120 homeless seniors at various locations (Kasuva Old Age Home, Dharmapuri Old Age Home, Thanjavur Old Age Home and Zamin Endathur Old Age Home).
A generous grant from EKAM USA sponsors two vocational training courses at the community college run by our partner Sevalaya. There are 35 students enrolled in the House Electrician course and 35 students enrolled in the A/C Repair course. Both courses are six months long and coursework includes both theory and practical work.
Holiday Drive

Our annual holiday drive for San Jose Family Supportive Housing was a success. San Jose Family supportive housing provides temporary housing and compassionate support to families experiencing homelessness, guiding them from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency. We donated comforters, bed sheets, towels, granola bars, fruit snacks, comforters, sheet sets, bathmats, diapers, trash bins, and blankets. We thank our generous supporters for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
A grant of $2500 was made to Manjula Meraki Mental health clinic which offers mental health and wellness services to the students, seniors, and staff of Sevalaya and to rural women who are farmers and caregivers.
Sevathon

We had a successful Sevathon on August 25, 2024, where we raised around $1500. Sevalaya USA sincerely thanks the 46 supporters for participating in the event and visiting the booth. We can’t do our work without your support.
Our supporter Lalita Subramanian’s birthday fundraiser raised funds to install sanitary pad vending and incinerator machines in the ladies toilets in Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School and skills training centers.
Fundraiser by a highschooler

Shanthi, a high school student, raised funds to buy notebooks for the elementary school students in Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School. She visited the campus in November and distributed them to the students.
